2024 Maritime Aquarium

On July 1, NGO Sustainability toured The Maritime Aquarium of Norwalk. Interns learned about the aquarium’s conservation efforts and explored topics in sustainability and climate change relating to the Long Island Sound. NGO Sustainability’s belief in public engagement and local impact is echoed in the aquarium’s public engagement efforts. Interactive exhibits and environmental education programs aim to inform visitors about issues such as biodiversity, climate change, and conservation. The aquarium hopes visitors will leave inspired to take action, reach out to their changemakers, and commit themselves to furthering the conservation cause.
